Twice now I've tried to change my signature and occupation in my profile. I click the "Update Profile" button after I change the info, and next time I post, my old signature is still there. Anyone know why?

Did you read the page that you got after you tried to update your signature?

In addition to your new signature, fill in the other info it asks for and it'll work. This is part of our new automated registration software. The same info was required when you initially registered, it is just now a part of the forum management software. The info you enter will not be displayed to the public (expect for your city/state/country).

Okyday. Even though each of those items do say "Not publicly displayed," the top of the page says this:

quote:
All of the information you provide on this page (with the exception of the password and login name) will be viewable by anyone visiting the message board. Thus, if you do not feel comfortable completing any non required fields, please leave them blank.
Therefore, I thought they would be displayed, so I took the suggestion of not completing those items. Got it now. Thanks.
