I am having a problem with my computer not loading pictures on websites at their full resolution. This happens in both IE and NEtscape so it cant be the browser. It is not my computer setting because saved pictures load jsut fine.

Are there any settings somewhere that may have accidentally been changed? I am running Win 2k

Thanks

Are you using AOL? Some providers have a compression that is applied to images so the pages load faster. There is a way (at least in AOL) to turn it off, but it's been too long for me to remember where that setting is. Plus the last AOL I used was the all "new and improved, faster than ever AOL 5.0". Now I think we have the "new and improved, faster than ever AOL 9.0". [Roll Eyes]

No, I use either internet america dial up or I connect with my PCS vision phone. I installed a program a few months ago that did what you are talking about, but I uninstalled it. I thought that maybe it was my cache that had saved the pics from when that was installed, but it does it on pictures that I have never seen.

How do you empty the cacahe in Netscape 6?
