Author Topic: Pictures not loading properly Chris Hipp Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1462 From: Mesquite, Tx (east of Dallas) Registered: Jul 2003 posted 12-28-2003 02:46 AM                     I am having a problem with my computer not loading pictures on websites at their full resolution. This happens in both IE and NEtscape so it cant be the browser. It is not my computer setting because saved pictures load jsut fine. Are there any settings somewhere that may have accidentally been changed? Some providers have a compression that is applied to images so the pages load faster. There is a way (at least in AOL) to turn it off, but it's been too long for me to remember where that setting is. Plus the last AOL I used was the all "new and improved, faster than ever AOL 5.0". I installed a program a few months ago that did what you are talking about, but I uninstalled it. I thought that maybe it was my cache that had saved the pics from when that was installed, but it does it on pictures that I have never seen.
