Author Topic: Obituaries Gary Crawford Expert Film Handler Posts: 200 From: Neptune NJ USA Registered: Nov 2003 posted 01-22-2004 02:40 PM                     I didn't see anywhere else to post this. If it needs to be moved somewhere else in here, no problem. This is to announce the passing of James MacDonald on Saturday, Jan 17 2004. He was the stage manager / stagehand sup't at the Paramount Theatre and Convention Hall in Asbury Park NJ. He was active in the affairs of IATSE Local 534. He was 40. A truly nice guy that everyone liked, he will be missed. There were no funeral services but a memorial service was held at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park on Wednesday night, Jan 21. Bye Jim. Teaser headings suck because it causes the guy who matters (me) to have to click on the topic and wait for my SLLLOOOWWW dial up to load the site jsut find out it is something that I don't care about. You now know what an obit is. Deal with it. If speed is such an issue, don't waste your time opening the same thread twice, to complain twice. Personally, I think putting all of the obituaries in a single thread is a good idea.
