Jason Black Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1723 From: Myrtle Beach, SC, USA Registered: Nov 2000 posted 01-26-2004 08:59 PM                        Getting into yet another new 'hobby' and wondered if anyone here on FT happened to be involved in paintball activities? So far, I've picked up a Spyder E-99 Avant, revvy 12v, J&J 14" polished barrel, & 20oz co2. And before you reply Phil, I'm not talking about YOUR paintball activities. You ar ecorrect. First you must scrub them clean with a stiff wire brush and soak in trichloryethelene so the paint will adhere. We had many matches againist other GCC Theatres in our area like GCC Fallbrook Theatre in West Hills, Ca. . I had alot of fun going after staff members of the other theatre. Our teams were typically a mix of high school/college age kids and Marines. Games would get pretty tense since the tactics were often pretty sophisticated. Rachel, getting shot with one paintball doesn't hurt too bad. Here's what really hurts in paintball: Let's say you're walking "point" through the woods at the front of your squad, or just operating alone as a scout. You waltz unknowingly into the kill zone of an L-shaped set up by the opposing team. Then there is a hail of paintball slugs hitting you.
