Getting into yet another new 'hobby' and wondered if anyone here on FT happened to be involved in paintball activities?

So far, I've picked up a Spyder E-99 Avant, revvy 12v, J&J 14" polished barrel, & 20oz co2.

And before you reply Phil, I'm not talking about YOUR paintball activities. The rest of the world doesn't need such exposure to your most devious side. [evil]

I used to have a LOT of friends who were into it but I'd never go because I was afraid it would hurt to much. I was always more into laser tag. [Big Grin]

What is that? Does it involve painting your balls?

Michael,

Yes. You ar ecorrect. First you must scrub them clean with a stiff wire brush and soak in trichloryethelene so the paint will adhere.

Let me know it turns out for you. [Roll Eyes]

We had a few people at the GCC Sherman Oaks Theatre that I was assigned to, that was into the game. We had many matches againist other GCC Theatres in our area like GCC Fallbrook Theatre in West Hills, Ca. . I had alot of fun going after staff members of the other theatre. [Wink]

There are a few places that have it out here in New York and New Jersey.

I used to play paintball a lot when I was a high school student in Quantico, VA (the "Crossroads of the Marine Corps"). Our teams were typically a mix of high school/college age kids and Marines. Games would get pretty tense since the tactics were often pretty sophisticated.

Rachel, getting shot with one paintball doesn't hurt too bad. Here's what really hurts in paintball: Let's say you're walking "point" through the woods at the front of your squad, or just operating alone as a scout. You waltz unknowingly into the kill zone of an L-shaped set up by the opposing team. Then there is a hail of paintball slugs hitting you. Ouch.

Jason...and others! What a bunch of pussies!

Come to Los Angeles where we use "real" bullets not those pussy-ass paint thingies! [Razz]

OBTW Jason, be sure to send Mike some of your "Glow-in-the-dark-hot-pink" paint for his balls. The pics you emailed me of yourself look really hot! Hubba Hubba! [Wink]
