Author Topic: Fake ebay email Bruce Hansen Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 847 From: Stone Mountain, GA, USA Registered: Dec 1999 posted 02-10-2004 07:21 PM                     I have received an email that is made to look like it came from ebay, saying that their records need to be updated, and directing me to a web site that asks for personal information. I thought it was odd that "ebay" was not part of the web address, so I sent the email to ebay. They replied that it is not their email, or web site, and not to leave any information there. I am posting this, just incase anyone else has received this same email.
