has anyone ever actually gotten anything cool as a prize? The most recent box I ate had a picture of cracker jacks as a prize.

I know you only pay 30 cents for a box and I dont expect much but geez come on why would anyone want a picture of something they are eating?

Chris,

When I was a kid in the forties, I ate a lot of Cracker Jacks and the prizes were rather cool. I do not remember what they were but my friends and I used to save them. Had we kept them, I bet they would be worth something today.

Hey Chris,

I can actually say that "Yes I did", It was a $50.00 bill sealed in the standard red & white prize package.

They were running some kind of promo and I got lucky!!!

I have also gotton the picture of CJ Package from the past, and I agree 110% TOTALLY LAME [fu]

Once I found two prizes in a box! One was some useless plastic trinket and the other was a cheap gold-painted metal ring, which I gave to my girlfriend. (It broke within minutes)

It was the thought that counted though, we eventually got married, and still are (21 years this May 14th)

Anyone else ever get two prizes?

Yep, I can remember getting rings and toys and stuff. A sue-happy society eventually affected them, though, and anything that could even remotely be considered "dangerous" if accidentally swallowed was eliminated.

Which led to things like pictures of Cracker Jack boxes as prizes.
