Super Size Me made over $800 million? Probably all from Phil thinking that it was about something else entirely.

Mike, if you have the time, you really should type out KD's full name. And no, I don't have the time... I want to get to bed before 6am. (J/K KD [Smile] )

I bet a few hundred million came from Landmark holding it over at the Uptown in Minneapolis. If I'm gonna pay eight dollars to see 'Coffee and Cigarettes,' or next week's 'Saved!' I wanna see it in a nice auditorium with some space in it. Because of 'Super' every indie film gets relegated to the Lagoon or to the traffic-laden Edina. [Frown]

I'm just wondering, does KD have an actual nick-name? (KD, if you don't know that term, it's a shorter version of your first name or maybe a name that your friends call you... such as, my real name is Michael, and I have a friend name William but everyone calls him "Scooter.") I don't think people are meaning to be disrespectful by abbreviating your name, but if there was a short version I'm sure everyone would use it.

I am of Indian origin , and even I have a hard time remembering KD's name. And I am usually a stickler for getting names right. Then again, KD is closer to Dhananjay's name than what some of his estimates are to reality. Actually using initials is a pretty common nickname in the part of India my parents are from. I had to move to India as a kid for a while with my mom for family reasons and there was this phase when people used to call me PD (my first and middle initials), and then it morphed into, get this , KD. I already explained KD being a term to describe a rascally kind of guy, so it was used to have some good natured fun with my name since the concept of First name Middle Name Last Name order was different from that state's convention of Last Name (preceded by any other family Names) followed by the First Name.

I'm *SURE* you're NOT referring to me since I'm VERY happy with what I already have...
