FJN,

This is "Film-Yak". According to the rules, this forum is for anything non-film related. I thought that this was a funny game.

Sadly, I can actually report about two-and-a-half miles, through the dark, and in -0 degree windchills.

Being drunk is cool. My life improved significantly once I finally got drunk! I recommend it to everybody.

Along with the philosophy about violence solving everything Joe, it seems like you've had some fun days. [Big Grin]

Well, let's see here.......

Depends on what you drink.

1. If it is a "Coffee Royal" on board Navy-Issue ship in high and heavy seas, maybe a couple of frames before you fall flat on your ass. Ever try walking on the bulkheads when you are sober? Well, try it when you are drunk.

Been there.... [Smile]

2. In the Philippines, about 4 bottles of San Miguel, that'll do the job....You might almost make it back to the ship.

Been there, too. [Wink]

3. In Japan, about 6 Hot Sake's served at 131 degrees F will knock you on your butt.

Been there again. As a matter of fact, when I was in Atsugi, Japan, we went on a port and starboard drunk. [Razz]

4. In the USA, three shots of 151 Rum will REALLY do the job. Maybe 150 feet at best. [eyes]

5. In the USA, a 1-liter bottle of rot-gut wine will allow you to walk about 500 feet or more. However, in the morning, well, that's a different story.
[Eek!]

In real life I can only walk about half a mile before I collapse, so if I was drunk I bet I could double that!

A friend of mine walked home, drunk, from a party in the snow. The next morning when we picked him up it looked as if he was running a slalom course. So we guessed that for every mile the journey should have taken, he walked an extra half mile.

Okay.. Okay... I haven't posted in a while, but that was truly the worst waste of time. I couldn't believe I actually clicked the link. But the topic is quite interesting? When you're drunk, how do you know how far you actually went? Like David's friend, I backtracked many times crossing a field. When I had to piss, I lost my bearings and headed another direction. Took me a while to just look for a light to head to. After many lights, and many pit stops, I reached the parking lot which was a quarter mile from where I came from.

I just don't get the point of all this...

After a night out clubbin', I only have to walk 32 ft to my car. No big deal! [beer]
