(The ST had a MIDI-interface built-in, for those too young to know.) Ron Yost .. actually using Winblows XP Pro, but misses all those huge 5k Atari programs. But it is a crazy operating system that allows you to write a SMTP mail transport agent in its scripting language (rexx). I resist upgrading until I absolutely have to. I particularly resent product activation and the likelyhood that this is the first step to changing the business model to where you cannot simply buy software but must subscribe and pay forever. Yes, yes, Linux and Mac. But easier and cheaper to go with the flow. How many billions could Apple make if they made a Mac OS for the Intel platform?  |  IP: Logged Mark J.
