Im all aginsist cruelty to animals but a maggot is going a little over board in my opinion. Edited several hours later to add this afterthought: How the hell did they know that the maggot had succumbed to natural causes anyway? Did they do a post-mortem on the critter? If I was the cow, I don't think I'd have wanted to eat it after that, which would make the cow an animal cruelty victim too. Just because the crow has an acting career doesnt mean that he needs to become a vegan.
