Yes, one more year until legal beer. Beer is the reason the world was created. It is everything it is cracked up to be. Get your hopes SKY HIGH because beer is incredibly great. You will not believe how awesome it is. It makes you cool, it helps chicks dig you, etc. Let's face it, your cool friends won't like you if you don't drink beer. So get drunk a lot. The more you do, the cooler you'll be. It's your choice.

Just remember, being intoxicated enhances EVERY situation and improves your judgement!

20, eh steve? Yup I'll be twenty in a few months here. I can't wait. I really can't. Each and every day I rise from my bed, I stare at the ceiling and say "thank you lord that this day may passeth and I be yet closer to that o so rounded 20."

I miss being 15. I miss not having to drive. I miss 15 year old girls. It seems the older we get in college the more girls get beer bellies. I hate it. Someday I'll invent a time machine and go play final fantasy seven and be amazed by the graphics. Until than, empty reruns of "saved by the bell" are my staple. And when I turn 21 I can have that great, fun experience of everyone I know wanting to get me drunk off my ass when it is really pointless because in this day and age a drinking age is taboo because beer is practically dispensed in high school and finding an alcohol virgin at 20 is about as rare as a pigmied gorilla. Sigh. Happy birthday.

I've actually had beer, legally. I went to Canada this past July, legal drinking age there is 18. Didn't think much of it though. The buzz was kind of nice, sort of a cross between Percoset and the way I feel after pulling an all-nighter, but not really worth putting up with the taste as far as I'm concerned.

Also I had a few sips of something alcoholic at a choir party when I was about 16, then someone casually mentioned to me that it had Vodka in it and, being the somewhat responsible individual that I was, I put it down someplace and "forgot" about it.

My parents are giving me an LP I asked for (I have a copy of it that was damaged at some point)

My grandmother gave me (indirectly) a night off work (she gave me $20, which, after taxes, give or take a few cents, is what I would have made had I gone into work)

I got a free DVD rental from Hollywood Video (Kentucky Fried Movie)

I'm getting myself a WAM video or 2.
