Author Topic: Gas prices are killing me! Peter Kerchinsky Master Film Handler Posts: 326 From: Seattle, WA, USA Registered: Jan 2002 posted 04-09-2005 02:33 PM                     I know we talked about this the last time it happened, but gas prices here in the Northwest are outrageously high. I made a triip from Seattle to Portland yesterday and in my boredom I checked a few station signs along the freeway. Seattle's highest was $2.45 regular unleaded, which I'm paying now. Somewhere around Chehalis it was listed as $2.55 per for regular unleaded. Portland's high was $2.35 per. On top of this, our dear legislators want to hike our gas tax over the next few years. My wages are not going up that much to support a $25.00 tankful. What are prices like in your area?
