I'm gearing up to have a major photo shoot for my upcoming member pic and I'd like to know what you'd like to see.

What should I wear?
How should I fix my hair?
Color or black-and-white?
Indoor or outdoor?
Smiling or pensive?

...and who else is due for a new-and-improved member photo?

Since this will be for your forum picture, I imagine that this will be a high-dollar photo extravaganza event with a professional photographer who usually takes pics of models and celebrities. Nothing less than a full blown tuxedo will do. Also, in the background there should be an explosion or maybe a nuclear holocaust to set things off nicely.

Call up Brad, he's probably a professional by now. Brad, you and your fancy new camera can kick my 3.2 megapixels butt. It's all about the lighting people!

Manny, wear something that goes well with your eyes. And smiling... gotta love that smile.

What a crazy coincidence! I was just about to send this to Brad's members photos update queue. [Razz] [Wink]

No, but seriously, mine is due for an update, too.

Manny, I think you should wear a bunch of old trailers draped around your shoulders, you should fix your hair by using a comb (or brush), you should paint your face in black-and-white, and sit in a doorway to the outside while leaning your head in your hand in the classic Thinker pose. Perfect! Or, yeah, like Joe said ... explosions.

Given your recent theme in posts, I would recommend an outside shot of you with your hand on your chin, one finger covering your mouth, eyebrows raised, chin lowered (but mouth closed) with the background scenery of an ass in a field. [Big Grin]

I'll post some actual non-snapshot photography samples next week.

I'd have to say opinions would probably be taken more seriously from those who have their own member photos.

Maybe just attach a picture of Phil wearing a shirt that says "I'm not Phil" on all non-photo-member posts.

Or, a better idea: A picture of Phil with no shirt. That'd get the photos flowing in. [Big Grin]

Last time we put random photos for the people who didn't have avatars, people moaned and whined and cried like the little babies they are.

Just for the record, thanks to Adam, I had a photo... for about a day. Dunno what happened to it though.
