Canadian cinema puts sexy angels under wraps Link

Forum rules apparently prohibit me from posting the actual text from the link because it contains certain keywords that have caused grief in the past.

So, Any of our friends "up-dare" [Big Grin] have a picture of this?

There's nothing wrong with the wrapping paper... the guy has his hand on her thigh.

I can't believe we'd ban any of those silly words. I must try and post the article so I can find out which extremely common word we banned:

quote:
OTTAWA (Reuters) - One of Canada's leading cinema chains has stopped handing out Christmas wrapping paper to its patrons after parents complained it featured angels fondling each other suggestively, newspapers reported on Tuesday.

Famous Players acted after the wrapping paper -- a promotion for the Virgin Mobile phone service -- was handed out to young children.

The paper features a male angel grasping the breast of his female partner, while she has hold of his genitals, as they kiss. Both are fully clothed in white angel attire.

"It would have been great for the right age group but clearly it wasn't suitable for children," a spokeswoman for Famous Players told the National Post newspaper.

Famous Players is part of Cineplex Entertainment LP, which is 50.5 percent owned by the Cineplex Galaxy Income Fund. Cineplex did not return a call seeking comment.

Just as I thought. None of those words are banned.

Oh for crying out loud!
The angels are hardly doing anything.
Now, I'm squinting cause it's a small picture, but to me it doesn't look very suggestive at all; it's not like either of them have some good "cupping" action going on.

I don't know what it was. I just grabbed the article, tried to bold type the title. When trying to post, I got a warning from the forum that the post contained certain words that caused grief in the past. If I wanted to have the post completed, I would have to contact Brad.

Yep, I got one of those FYI for the content in "Jammin' Wood!?", but it was because I had a series of "----" under the article that was messing it up.

Yeah, I remember trying to do that too so that I could separate the article from the request for a picture.

Thanks Andrew.

Well, at least you can still say "Christmas" in the commercial proper of Canada. The word has transferred to "holiday" for everyone but churches in America.

Those are sexy angels, no doubt [Big Grin]

I say "Christmas". I am the least religious person you'll ever meet, but I say and celebrate Christmas like every other normal person. Anyone who doesn't like it can feast on my dingleberries.
