Hope this isn't to political for the forum.

ACLU should not try to stop Fla. haven for God-fearing
If Tom Monaghan, the owner of Dominos Pizza, is taking the side for good, civil libertarians have clearly chosen the side for evil. What purpose can it possibly serve to sue over the laws which will govern just 5,000 acres of one state?
He wants to found the town of Ava Maria, Fla., on the very principles which brought most of our ancestors to this country -- the ability to worship God in the way one sees fit.
Already the American Civil Liberties Union has done just about everything it can to make this country an uncomfortable place to be a Christian, let alone a Catholic.
What particularly annoys me is that the founding of Ava Maria does not, in any way, affect the people who are fighting against it. If those individuals don't want to adhere to the moral codes which are the basis for the town's laws, the answer is simple: don't live there.
