Author Topic: Need help on replacement lamp for Wega LCD TV's Allison Parsons Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 630 From: East Peoria, IL Registered: Oct 2004 posted 06-11-2006 08:09 PM                        Hi guys. A friend came across a Sony XL-2100 replacement lamp for Grand Wega projection TVs at a garage sale the other week. I know NOTHING about things like this but here's my question: Is there a sure fire way to tell if this lamp is bad? There is no way I can test it on a TV, since I don't have one. I don't see any black/burnt out parts in the inside of the lamp itself. Like I said, having no knowledge of those things, I didn't know if there was a way to know if the thing is even good.
