I came across while looking around on SourceForge.
Cinema Business
Here is the official description:
quote: This is a game of business management. Operate a movie theater, hire & promote employees, buy movies and sell tickets, make extra cash with concessions and coin op arcade games in your lobby. All math variables editable by the user in 1 config file.
This game is still in Beta, but it is downloadable from this site. It looks like one person is developing this in Visual BASIC.
Program is available under the GNU license. It is possible to change the math to tweak the game.
I haven't tried it yet, but I thought I would post it here in case any of you are interested in trying it.
Remember, it is a very early BETA version, and subject to bugs. Looks like the developer is trying to tweak up the numbers to make it a bit more realistic.
There is a forum available for posting comments.
EDIT: I tried the game, and it needed a couple of files. It looked for msflxgrd.ocx and mci32.ocx. I found both of them on the net, installed them, and the program appears to run. It looks very rough, though. Still, its early BETA.
