What a boring list of nominees. I enjoyed Little Miss Sunshine a great deal, but I don't think it deserves an Oscar.

But who am I to say?? I didn't like Million Dollar Baby or Sideways at all and they won didn't they?

It's a crime that Jack Nicholson didn't get a supporting actor nomination for The Departed.

Can't believe I'm going to have to see Dreamgirls now based on the number of nominations, always try to see the main nominated films and winners in the cinema.

Really want Abigail Breslin to win Supporting Actress, she was fantastic in Little Miss Sunshine.

I've never even heard of Little Miss Sunshine. It sounds like something Drew Barrymore would be in. I don't think I've heard of Babel, either.

I get out plenty. Remember, just because you work at a movie theater does not mean movies are the most important thing in the world to everyone else. Even the videogame industry makes more money than the movie industry. Don't you think that's sad? You should try harder to make more money.

No, the sad thing is that movies aren't the most important thing in the world to everyone.

That said, who gives a shit what industry makes more money?

I was making a point that movies aren't the most popular leisure activity people spend their money on anymore. You seem to think that I god damn well OUGHT to know what those movies are, or else I am less of a human being or something. Should I assume that you need to get out more because you've never heard of Gears of War?

They gave a Best Adapted Screenplay nomination to Borat. I don't even have to argue that the Oscars are irrelevant. The Academy's making that argument for me! This makes me more irrelevant than ever.
