UPDATED JUNE 22, 2008
This is how we will handle updating member pictures from this point on. There are three options...
#1 Email the picture to memberpics@film-tech.com being ABSOLUTELY SURE you type your member name EXACTLY as it appears here on the forums in the email...and then make a post on this thread letting us know that you have "emailed the picture". If you email your picture but don't make a post here, odds are your picture won't get updated.
#2 Mail a photograph in for scanning. Email me for specifics. The photo can be returned if you desire.
#3 Fly to Dallas to have your picture taken, then fly home. (This is your best value.)
***If your picture has other people in it, be sure and note which person you are so we can crop them out of the picture
PLEASE REMEMBER, I will only be updating the member pics from time to time, so don't expect it to be instantaneous. However many people are sending in member pictures by embedding it into the email or they are emailing me a link to their picture. Either way makes it difficult for me to keep track of. To make matters worse many people are not putting their full name into the email, or are using a shortened version of it (Rich instead of Richard), further complicating the task. So from this point on unless you need your photograph to be scanned in or you plan on visiting me just to have your picture taken, you need to follow the instructions in option #1 above.
ALSO REMEMBER, if your picture does not clearly show your face, it will be rejected. Please try to send large pictures, not tiny small ones. [ 06-22-2008, 11:28 PM: Message edited by: Brad Miller ]
