All reels except for Reel 6 had "normal" type marking the heads and tails of the prints. Did someone at the lab or studio let their kid write this stuff. These prints seem to be done for a long time. I saw a date stamp at the end of one tail that had a 5-26-2007 date or something really close.

Is there a lab splice between that and somewhere in the countdown? I've seen that before where it appeared they "ran out of raw stock" but DID actually have enough to finish the reel, just not the leader, so my assumption was that they spliced extra on and hand-labeled it.

I remember seeing that exact type of writing on at least two of the four prints that I had. I think it was a lab thing.

It seems in line with Deluxe Toronto's funky typography...

Paul says, "Did someone at the lab or studio let their kid write this stuff."

Hey, what's wrong with that? Seems like a totally reasonable thing to do! [Big Grin]

I don't remember seeing that on any of my 3 prints.

I didn't see that on the two prints I received and built.
