Beginning a 3-year saga of film production classes at the Miami International Unicersity of Art and Design. (They're on a quarterly system, which is why they start in October.) I have my original red-cover hardcover of "The 5 C's of Cinematography" and have referred to it many times since I got it as a teen. All the principles are valid today as they were 30+ years ago when it was originally published. "The 5 C's" should be required reading in every film program, without exception! Studying that book advanced the look of my work exponentially. Moreso than any single volume, before or since.
