My friend Keith sent me this picture. The blond girl in the photo is his wife. The rest of the people are a famous band, but she can't remember who they are and I don't recognize them. I'm sure somebody here will. This pic is from 2002 and was taken in Rapid City, SD airport. The group was on its way to perform at the Sturgis motorcycle rally.

The 2 older, balding gentlemen look familiar...maybe part of the original band, whatever it is...

I'd be far more interested to know more about that cute blond!

The totally bald base guitarist and the drummer look close. The other fellow's hair is not that long, and the vocalist has less hair on top (at the airport.)
"Love Hurts."

Next time I see Pete Agnew in the pub I'll ask him if they played Sturgis bike rally in 2002

Wow, I don't feel quite so out-of-touch now. The other day I was getting some work done on the company car. As I waited in the repair shop lounge, I browsed through a late edition of "People" magazine. Fully 80% of the people in the magazine identified as stars or celebrities I'd never even heard of before!

Tim, I'm the same way. I used to get "Premeire" magazine, a really good movie mag. It went belly-up, so to fill out the subscription, they have substituted "Us" magazine, a competitor to People. I hardly recognize anyone in that thing.

Back to the band guessing -- I emailed my friend and told him the early opinion was Nazareth. If he writes back with "D'OH, of course!" I'll let you know. Meanwhile, keep those opinions coming.

Not sure about the guy on the left. He does not have enough hair or the facial features of Nazareths Lead Singer Dan MaCafferty however the three gents next to the pretty blonde are members of Nazareth from left to right we have on lead guitar, Jimmy Murrison. on Drums we have Lee Agnew the elder son of the Bass player on the far right Pete Agnew. I thnk the guy on the left was a keyboard player they used to use. I don't rmember his name and I think he left the group after 2002.
