I'm terribly excited actually. After a stint with Family Video, I've returned to the exhibition industry in a way. I've been working the past couple of months for the University of Notre Dame at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. My position is that of assistant ticket office manager. It's really nice to be back into something a little more similar to working at the cinema. Indeed, we also have a cinema! Here's some more information on what we do at the DPAC. If anyone is ever in the area, do stop in.

We just finished up a run for Pilobolus and tomorrow is The 5 Browns. Goodness, next week is The Dave Brubeck Quartet. Wow, what a month!

Thanks Bob. Like I said, one of our highlights is the Browning Cinema. We tend not to show mainstream Hollywood, but foreign, independent, and classic films. It's amazing that after being there almost three months, and being exposed to these films really makes you realize how bad the average Hollywood feature is. We also host directors, actors, and others that are involved with the film quite often.

I wouldn't call it our sister theatre, but our cinema manager for the Browning also runs The Vickers Theatre in Three Oaks, MI. It's really a great area to come visit for all film lovers.
