Posts: 12814 From: Annapolis, MD Registered: Dec 1999 posted 12-17-2007 03:59 AM                     Those of you that work for or around National Amusements (aka Showcase Cinemas, aka Multiplex Cinemas, aka Redstone Theatres) may have known Vincent Bland. This past week he had a tragic accident which resulted in his death. In addition to being a projectionist into the 1990, Vince, also was one of the POC trainers for National Amusements. Vince was more recently involved with new-builds, installations as well as shutting down older theatres. For those that knew Vince, his memorial service will be held on December 19th, 2007 at 11:00am at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA 2110 (703) 257-6028. Among other things, he was a friend of mine and will be deeply missed. He was very kind and generous, and I had looked forward to working with him in the future. I was shocked to hear of this tragedy. He leaves a wife and six children behind.  |  IP: Logged
