Just got the new IME which included some cool numbers for 2007.

- Of the top 20 films, 1 was rated G; 5 were PG; 10 were PG-13 and 4 were rated R.

- Studio ranking with grosses in billions:
* Paramount $1.5
* Warner Bros. $1.4
* Disney $1.3
* Sony $1.2
* Universal $1.0

- Nine of the top 10 films were science fiction/fantasy. The exception: The Bourne Ultimatum

- Grosses were up 4% this year. Admissions were up slightly less than 1%.

- There were 189 wide releases (600 or more screens)

- Average ticket price was $6.70

- Five of the top 6 films of the summer were sequels. The exception - Transformers

- DVD sales were down 4.1% from 2006
