The Lucky Quarter

16mm, Fuji 64D, Bolex, 1.66:1

I couldn't find an actor to play the bum, so I would have my camera operator stand in for me while I set up the shot, then I would lock off the camera, we'd switch places, I'd tell him to roll camera, then I'd play out the scene.

I finished editing and added the music just in time for Pi Day (3.14), which is fitting considering the ending.

Hey, film work! Cool. Your screen directions and looks are consistent, very good. [Smile]

If I could make one suggestion: I would tighten it up, particularly the fall. Even though you have plenty of footage covering it, it doesn't quite flow.

You should read the book, "The Five C's of Cinematography." That will help tremendously with staging.

Looks like you're having fun, keep at it! [Cool]
