Hey everyone!

I haven't been here in forever because I left the theatre industry for several reasons (the deciding factor being that I kept being shorted at least 10 hours every cheque).

I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction...

I'm looking for some kind of way to help collaboration between my bandmates and me (we're just finishing up our second album and are going to start number 3 very shortly.. Check our facebook page here: Casper Kennedy.

Basically now, I write all of the music, then the masters (waves and multitrack session files for Adobe Audition) are passed around on DVD through the mail to everyone one by one and everyone adds their part. A little old fashioned but it works... sort of...

What I want to do is add a passworded section to my website where the band memebers can take files, upload files (riffs, multitracks, etc.), leave comments, etc.

Is there any kind of open source solution, or very LOW COST solution... I'm sure (hoping) there is...

A couple of other things... It looks like SFTP requires a program be installed on each computer...

I'm looking (hopefully) for something that has a login screen and runs in the browser...

You don't want to go through the browser, that will just slow things down. Just download WinSCP and then it is a simple drag and drop between the server and your individual computers. WinSCP is freeware and very easy to use.
