The Museum of Modern Art is running a film series on jazz in the movies - does anyone know if MoMA normally run 35MM? Maybe someone here is the projectionist there (or knows them?) Unfortunately, the program doesn't specify exhibition format. I'm really interested in seeing 'The Pawnbroker', especially if it's 35MM. It's playing Friday, June 6 at 6pm and Sunday, June 8 at 2:30pm. Other films that are part of this series: In Cold Blood The Wild One The Organization the Taking of Pelham One Two Three Breathless The Concrete Jungle Alfie A Bucket of Blood Pianissimo "A Marriage Made in Heaven" - animated Jazz shorts from the Hubley Studio featuring the music of Benny Carter, Dizzy Gillespie, Quincy Jones and other Jazz giants. Also playing at MOMA this month: The Maltese Falcon All About Eve On The Waterfront It Should Happen to You Film tickets are free if you're a member or have a museum admission ticket stub.
