I'm planning a road trip this summer to visit my family just outside of Lexington, KY. I've done the trip many times, but this time I'm putting a twist on it. My plan is to avoid the interstate at all costs. I'll be traveling from South Bend, IN through Indianapolis, and then straight to Lexington. The majority of the trip will be on US 31 and US 421. I'm pretty familiar with 31, but 421 is uncharted for me. Any of you ever travel the route?

I know, gas is expensive, but I want the trip not just to be a visit, but also be an adventure on the way there.

Sounds like you need to contact the Cinematour guys and see about possibly photographing and archiving some of the small town theaters that you pass along the way. If you happen to get a booth tour at any theater, send us over a photo set (we don't accept submissions without booth tours since we are a projection related site). However even if all you get is a shot of the front of the building, don't hesitate to add it to the Cinematour archive. [Cool]
