Author Topic: Bernie Mac - RIP Mike Heenan Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1896 From: Scottsdale, AZ, USA Registered: Mar 2000 posted 08-09-2008 10:56 AM                     Not really a huge fan of the guy but didn't dislike him, he was pretty funny in the Ocean's series. I had no idea Bernie Mac was struggling with some serious health problems (sarcoidosis). I'd usually expect someone his age to die of a heart attack due to undiagnosed heart disease -or in a car accident or something along those lines. Pneumonia is a pretty bad way to check out. Bernie Mac's stand up routine was pretty crude. I liked the supporting performances he gave in a lot of different movies. He was great in Bad Santa. Bernie stole lots of scenes in How to be a Player.
