Anyone have a source for a similar lion-head plaster wall plaque as in the film "Cinema Paradiso" theatre?

Phil, my landlord can get something close to that in either metal or plasticast (like epoxy). I'll try to talk to him this weekend.

Are you looking to get one with the "mouth" big enough to project out of? [Smile]

I found a couple on the inet, but as Tony sez, the mouth is only 2-3 inches. I NEED a BIGGER mouth to handle my needs. [Eek!] [beer] [Razz]

What about this?

http://zhkis.com/roaring-lion-wall-sculpture.aspx

I used to do some prototyping when I worked for another company. If I could get an artist to do a sculpture based on the one in Cinema Paradiso, I could make a reverse mold from it and then make copies to sell. Wonder what a decent artist would charge for something like that.

It would almost have to be a custom job, just to get one where the mouth was open wide enough. Look at the still... you can just about get your head in there!

Btw... excellent idea, Phil!! [thumbsup]

After looking at the physical parameters of my screening room, I find my "dream" impossible.

I have a 12ft screen with a 18ft throw which would make the mouth enormous especially for anamorphic...
