Henry Gibson has passed away at 73. He played many different characters in movies, TV and cartoon voices over the years.

Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In
Nashville
Blues Brothers

and many others.

Gosh, this has been a deadly year for famous people.

I thought he was an interesting actor and enjoyed his work.

RIP Henry.

Solomon Grundy born on Monday; went to school on Tuesday; grew a beard on Wednesday; expelled on Thursday; protested on Friday; arrested on Saturday; drafted on Sunday; and this was the end of Solomon Grundy.

HD Net Movies recently played The 'Burbs, starring the likes of Tom Hanks, Carrie Fisher and Bruce Dern. Henry Gibson was the baddie in that one.

Still, when it comes to Henry Gibson I always think of him in The Blues Brothers and Laugh-In.

Henry was one of those actors that seemed to have been quite old for as long as I can remember. Not really eulogy material that. My favourite role of his, was the inept neo-Nazi leader in BB. Never knew he was the voice of Wilbur in the Charlotte's Web animated movie! RIP
