The Weinsteins are said to be trying to buy the name back from Disney, since it has such a strong emotional tie to them. The feeling on the industry gossip sites seems to be that they have a good chance of doing it. It's only in the last couple of years Miramax had an opening studio logo that didn't make me want to vomit.
