Where can I get a small amount of Dolby RED touch-up paint for my CP-650. It has a small scratch in the red area.

Thanks in advance for any leads.

Phil, one of your red nail polishes should certainly be a match! [Wink]

You beat me to it Jim. [Big Grin]

Phil, have you tried contacting Dolby?

Or you could even detach the front panel and take it to Loew's or Home Despot's paint depts. and they can color match it. You would probably have to buy a quart minimum, but you could re-bottle it and sell it to the masses.

They probably do make nail polish in that color! But for a perfrct match just take your Dolby CP-650 to a local auto paint place. They can measure the color with a photometer and custom mix paint for you in a spray can. Oh, and you better check the power supply capacitors while you're at it or just throw in a new power supply so it doesn't give you any trouble...

Ya know Jim, once again you have proved yourself worthy of your own LINK... [Razz]

Oh, and that goes for you too, Tony. [beer]

Thanks Mark for your suggestion as I've not heard back from Dolby. Perhaps I need to go thru a dealer(?)...

Auto parts store will do custom matching.

BUT the nail polish is not a bad idea. Lots of similar colors! Louis
