Author Topic: The Roxy is 80 years old today (Sept. 6) Mike Blakesley Film God Posts: 12767 From: Forsyth, Montana Registered: Jun 99 posted 09-07-2010 12:56 AM                        That's right, our little old movie theatre is celebrating its 80th birthday today. It opened September 6, 1930 showing the movie "The Bad One" with Dolores Del Rio. It's only had 4 owners (or sets of owners) since it opened; I started out as a projectionist in 1976 and purchased it with my brother-in-law in 1979. I bought him out in 1992.
