Blake Edwards the writer and director behind the Pink Panther has passed away. He died wednesday night in Santa Monica, Ca. He was 88.

Over the years, we did some extremely successful New Year's Eve shows with Blake Edwards films like THE PARTY and VICTOR/VICTORIA. I always wished I could have got THE GREAT RACE --
