Way back in those tricycle riding years, I always associated Peter Falk with his role in Columbo and NBC's mystery series opening: linky linky. Very retro.

Wings of Desire and The Princess Bride were great 1980's movies. Peter Falk put his mark on both of them. RIP, Peter.

Columbo, the cop without a gun.

A great comic and dramatic actor, and part of the John Cassavettes crowd. He'll be well remembered.
