(((SPOILER SCENE IN A FILM)))

Please correct me if I am wrong (or crazy):

In the past few days I have noticed something odd. Not sure if this is a difference in 35mm, 2D, or 3D versions of Transformers 3 (or even the PLATINUM 6 version we have). I noticed in two different versions of this movie that the scene with John Malkovich in which a woman is yelled at for using a certain color cup on a certain color floor. In the 3-D version she is using a Red Cup on the Yellow Floor and on the 2-D version she is using a Yellow Cup on the Red Floor. Has anyone else noticed this oddity?

I know for a fact that these two different scenes exist. I am just trying to figure out whether it is a 35mm print versus digital thing or a 2D/3D thing -or is it just changed for the "Platinum Edition".

I am thinking I may have lost my mind on this one.. Now I gotta watch 4 different versions of this movie to be sure I haven't gone crazy. Too bad the movie sucks.

Maybe it's a way to determine where the pirated copies are coming from. 2D or putting one lens of 3D glasses over the camera lens for the 3D version. No clue, not sure why they would bother with such a thing or why anyone would get yelled at for using a certain color cup on a certain color floor or why anyone would even "use" a cup on the floor in the first place. Does John Malkovic play a crazy person, I am guessing? That's the only role he's good for.

I wonder if I am the only person to think Two Girls One Cup when first seeing the title of this thread.

Yes, Malkovic plays a crazy person. Both of my 3d versions as well as my 35mm have the same scene, yellow floor with a red cup

Is there an episode where it shows someone kicking his head like a football? That's what I always want to do/see when I see that character.

"Platinum Edition 6" - a 6fL, brighter produced edition of "Trans3" and only to be played on equipped screens that can reproduce a brighter - 6fL - digital image over the conventional 4.5 to 5 fL presentations.

The drive has a pink label to separate it from the tradional blue labels of the general 2D/3D release.

Real-D version...red cup on yellow floor. This lines up with a later scene where the girl gives Gyllenhaal a red cup with red licorice on a yellow floor.
