Also, on this date in 1965, the Dimension-150 industry demonstration took place at the UA Lefrak in Queens, NY.

So August 1985 saw two 1984 summer hits re-released? Must have been a pretty lean time for business.

Rambo: First Blood Part 2 was up to $144 million. I had no idea it took so much. That's almost $706.5 million today!

It's interesting: still a lot of sequels throughout the 80s...but a lot of them were pretty quality releases. Just some amazing hits during that time that just seem so foreign today.
