Author Topic: would old screenvision ads sell on ebay? Kara Tillotson Film Handler Posts: 87 From: Manistee Mi Registered: Jul 2006 posted 09-16-2011 07:28 PM                        I found some old Screenvision 35mm commercials from the 80s for things like KOOL cigarettes. Do you think these would sell on ebay? Registered: Aug 1999 posted 09-16-2011 08:54 PM                     I worked in TV alot in the 1980s, so I didnt see many commercials in theatres, but back in the 1970's, the tobacco industry had to stop advertising on TV. Anybody know how long it went on in theatres? There's a letter enclosed with the film from Screenvision saying it had to be shown from July I through Aug 4. How is it going? We need to check out your theater one of these days -- we were interested in purchasing it at one point, but the city owned it and was not interested in selling.
