IMO, this movie was the pinnacle of Robin Williams comedy career...and right after another great film (that he voiced) of his..'Aladdin'.

I had a lot of customers "mess up" the title of the movie when they bought tickets at the box office. "Mrs Double-Tree" was a constant.
This movie did excellent business but, like Home Alone, I didn't enjoy it as much as the masses did.

This movie and "Tootsie" are IMHO the two best guy-in-drag movies. We did great business on both.

I agree with it being Williams' best comedy performance.
