Author Topic: Byrd Theatre Marks 83rd. Bill Enos Film God Posts: 2081 From: Richmond, Virginia, USA Registered: Apr 2000 posted 12-27-2011 06:05 PM                     December 24th we marked the 83rd anniversary of the theatre's opening on December 24, 1928. That's 83 years of uninterrupted operation----never closed. We have one regular patron who was here on opening night, he was 8 years old. Thanks for looking after him. I have a 90 year old Mother-In-Law and routine has become very important to her.
