Author Topic: James Cameron hates the Brad Miller Administrator Posts: 17775 From: Plano, TX (36.2 miles NW of Rockwall) Registered: May 99 posted 04-01-2012 01:08 AM                     Does anyone remember this interview where Cameron went off about how it isn't "The Terminator" or "The Aliens" or "The Abyss" or "The Titanic"? He doesn't title his movies with "the" in the title and detests when people call it that. JC may not have named his movies with "the" in the title but the studios released "The Abyss" and "The Terminator" as such, and that is how they are called. I don't know anyone who refers to "The Titanic" or "The Aliens" -- those are just wrong -- but I don't think there's much to worry about there. I had one of those fold out posters that used to be used as promo in Variety. What I hate is when people refer to the sequel by the original's name. Like instead of saying "When is Toy Story 3 coming?" they say "When is Toy Story coming?" I'm tempted to say "We already played it in 1995." Or they'll say "that" in front of the name.
