While now recovered she suffered considerable damage and after returning home was unable to get out without difficulty for some time. As I passed her place on the way home I used to get her shopping, and was somewhat puzzled by the request for 'Digital tampons'. I couldn't think what she meant until I realised that she wasn't using the modern meaning of the word digital; she was talking about non-applicator tampons. While I can't claim to be a great expert on the subject of tampons I'd never heard them called 'digital' before, but a search for the term on Google brings up plenty of results, so maybe they use that term for them elsewhere in the World.
