Is anyone familiar with a web publishing app called MARKDOWNPAD (or MARKDOWN LINK SYNTAX)? How does one create a line break?

An example of what I want is something formatted like:

TITLE
May 14, 2012
Scope
Dolby
"The greatest movie ever made shown on the world's largest screen!"

However, what I keep getting is:

TITLE May 14, 2012 Scope Dolby "The greatest movie ever made shown on the world's largest screen!"

<br> should create a line break.

Or you can go to Tools > Options. Click on the "Markdown" button. Check the box for "Automatic newlines". Save and close the settings.

This will create a line break when you start a new line.
