Author Topic: Is "The Amazing Spider-Man" (2012) in 7.1? Connor Wilson Expert Film Handler Posts: 190 From: Sterling, VA, USA Registered: Jan 2011 posted 07-18-2012 11:03 AM                     There is no official word if The Amazing Spider-Man is in 7.1, but when I saw it for the second time at the Ziegfeld, it clearly sounded like 7.1. Like in the title screen, you can hear the web shoot at the title from the back surround speakers. I also noticed more effects that assured me it was in 7.1, but I've looked up online and no one confirmed the sound mix was in that format.
