Author Topic: Fall rerelease of 'Lawrence of Arabia' 2K/4K..70mm?? Registered: Jun 99 posted 08-10-2012 06:50 AM                     The whole point of the theatrical run is to show off the 8K digital restoration prior to it's BluRay release. It wouldn't make a lick of sense to go thru the effort of striking new 70mm prints, and the old prints would not be representitive of how the film will look on the disc.
