Does anyone know where I can get standees and advertisements for upcoming movies? I run a theatre and I am having a heck of a time locating who I could get some of this stuff through.

You'll want to contact the various studios Exhibitor Relations departments and speak to the person who oversees the region you're in.

Also, many of the large studios have nifty exhibitor relations websites where you can order goodies for your theatre without having to even pick up a phone! Sony: www.sonypicturesreleasing.com

You can order standees and banners on the Sony site, but (as far as I can tell) the rest of the sites are limited to trailers and one-sheets only.

For the other companies I guess you have to be a big theater to get the really good stuff -- which is too bad, because a studio would really get its money's worth in a small place, because the standee isn't as likely to get "lost" in a huge lobby full of standees

We don't put up standees as much as we used to because we have a pretty small lobby, and they're often just too big to fit. But when we do put one up, it DOMINATES the lobby. Nobody can possibly miss it.
