Hurricane Iselle is expected to directly hit the big island of Hawaii as a very weak hurricane or a strong tropical storm on Thursday and move directly over all of the other islands in the state . Directly in back of Iselle is Tropical Storm Julio and it is also expected to directly hit the state as a weak hurricane or a tropical storm. Weather forecasters are expecting Iselle to weaken and become a tropical storm by tomorrow when it enters cooler waters but how much is a question because it is a category four hurricane right now..

The storm could not have come at a worst time because Saturday is Primary Election Day in Hawaii when there are a crucial democratic U.S. Senate,, U.S. House and Governor race at stake.

Claude***Get out your umbrellas out and go see 'The Perfect Storm'. Looks like It may miss the Islands or you may get drenched Thurs/Sunday. Reverse the direction send It over to California. Stay dry!

Hurricane iselle is just making landfall now as I write this with a Category One direct hit on the eastern section of the big island including the city of Hilo. The other parts of the island and the rest if the state will be affected by a tropical storm It was a beautiful day here on the island of Oahu today but the clear sky before sunset has been replaced by dark heavy clouds and we should be in for a pretty wet and windy night as Iselle gets closer. We should see the sun again by Sunday and about a day later, go through the whole routine again when Tropical Storm Jugo moves up the island chain.

My sister and I are well prepared with all if the major essentials and all we have to do now is wait out the two storms.b
