Schwarzenegger Delays Big Screen Return

Arnold Schwarzenegger's return to the big screen will have to wait a little while. Engulfed in the tabloid fallout of his love child scandal, his reps have released a statement saying all of his post-Governorship projects in development have been put on hold so he can focus on his personal life according to The AFP.

The statement reads: "At the request of Arnold Schwarzenegger, we asked Creative Artists Agency to inform all his motion picture projects currently underway or being negotiated to stop planning until further notice. Gov. Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines. This includes Cry Macho, the Terminator franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Gov. Schwarzenegger decides."

TMZ added shortly after that his animated "The Governator" series has also been put on hold, a rep telling the website "In light of recent events, A Squared Entertainment, POW, Stan Lee Comics and Archie Comics have chosen to not go forward with the Governator project."

Schwarzenegger was also linked to "The Last Stand," "The Tomb" and a "Twins" sequel. Many wonder if any of these films will ever see the light of day now, with or without Arnie.
